My passion for photography revolves around people and street photography. I’m drawn to the interaction—being present, building quick connection, and capturing real moments as events unfold. Early in my journey, I was fortunate to travel the globe and photograph different cultures, communities, and environments, and that experience still shapes the way I see: with curiosity, respect, and a focus on the human story.

During the void and confusion of the COVID years, I started the Fredericksburg Street Photography Collective to find community—photographers who love the street the way I do. We’ve grown to around 50 members and meet once a month for coffee and cameras. These are my people.

In 2026 I transitioned my traditional photography business to a project-based, photography-centric model. This shift lets me explore photography more deeply and continuously challenge both my shooting and editing skills. I still take freelance work now and then, but the project focus gives me space to experiment and develop stronger bodies of work.

My tools of the trade include Fuji (XT5 & XH2), Leica M (M10-P & M240-P), and Q series (Q2 Monochrom) cameras. I enjoy the tactile feel and operation of these cameras — the physical controls, buttons, and manual focusing help me immerse myself in the process. It isn’t necessary for professional results, but it feels satisfying and makes creating imagery more deliberate and enjoyable.
